ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue has promoted nine Inspector Preventive Service of Model Customs Collectorate (Preventive), Karachi, to the post of Superintendent Preventive Service (BS-16) with immediate effect.
The promoted officers include Kifayatullah Khan (presently posted as Deputy Superintendent in MCC Peshawar), Abdus Salam, Khalid Mehmood Tabassum, Abdul Qadeer, Aziz Ahmad Khan, Imtiaz Ahmad Afridi (presently posted as Deputy Superintendent in MCC Peshawar), Saeed Ahmed Markhand, S Samar Hussain and Shahbaz Farooq.
According to the Board’s notification, their promotion will take effect from the date of their joining, subject to the condition that no disciplinary proceedings/enquiry is pending against them. Officials who are posted outside the MCC Preventive Karachi will actualise their promotion in their parent Collectorate, it added. The officers will be on probation for a period of one year, extendable for further period, not exceeding one year, provided that if no order is issued by the day following the termination of probationary period, the appointment will deem to be held until further order.
The officers already drawing performance allowance equal to 100 per cent of basic pay will continue to draw it on their promotion. The promoted officers have also been directed to relinquish/assume charge, using online HRMS facility made available at all FBR field offices or by using IJP login.
