NKATI setups Covid-19 vaccination centre in collaboration with Sindh govt

KARACHI: North Karachi Association of Trade & Industry (NKATI), has set up a vaccination center in collaboration with the Sindh government to protect industrial workers from the COVID-19 pandemic, with a maximum number of factory workers will be vaccinated on a priority basis.

“Captain A Moiz Khan Vaccination Centre” at NKATI welfare Clinic, was inaugurated by Faisal Moiz Khan, President NKATI, Riaz Haider, Member Provincial Assembly Sindh, Sadiq Mohammad, Chairman UFG and Mohammad Bakhsh Dharejo, Deputy Commissioner Central.

MPA Riaz Haider visited various departments of NKATI welfare Clinic and appreciated the arrangements made for providing medical facilities to the workers, also termed the establishment of Vaccination Centre as an important step for the health of industrial workers.

On the occasion, Faisal Moiz Khan said that the purpose of setting up “Captain A. Moiz Khan Vaccination Centre” is to save the lives of factory workers from COVID-19 pandemic, as workers are our assets and we can never compromise on their health. “Therefore, with the same approach, the North Karachi Association of Trade & Industry (NKATI) has set up a vaccination center in collaboration with the Sindh government, where workers can easily avail this facility without any difficulty”, he added.

NKATI president further said that the business community is not only grateful for the cooperation of the Sindh government but is also ready to extend all possible cooperation and will fight together against the pandemic.
