Mardan carnage: No proceedings in Customs Court due to lawyers strike

LAHORE: The Pakistan Bar Council (PBC) condemned the suicide attack on a District and Sessions Court in Mardan and announced a countrywide strike of lawyers on Monday.

According to details, no lawyer appeared in the customs court due to strike and all the cases were adjourned for the next dates.

At least 13 people died in the suicide attack when a suicide bomber blew himself up at the entrance of the District and  Sessions Court of Mardan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

In a statement, the bar condemned the tragic incident and demanded of the government to control law and order situation in the country.

The lawyers at the subordinate courts were seen very upset all the day when they heard about suicide attack in Mardan.
