No protocol at Allama Iqbal International Airport: Collector Jamil Nasir Khan

LAHORE: Customs Collectorate of Preventive Lahore Collector Jamil Nasir Khan has directed the staff deputed at Allama Iqbal International Airport to check the luggage of passengers as per the standard operating procedure provided under the law.

A standing order issued by the collector stated that now protocol will be provided to any passenger. The collector has also advised the staff to do profiling of the passengers without any consideration of protocols by any other agency purely on merit.

The standing order issued by the collector further stated that there will be no protocol will be given by customs staff deputed at Allama Iqbal International Airport to any passenger.

The staff posted at the Allama International Airport is directed to strictly implement the instructions with immediate effect . Zero tolerance policy will be adopted taken against those employees who will not implement instructions, the standing order concluded as saying.
