MUMBAI: Phonearena unveils that Nokia’s new flagship, the Nokia N1 tablet, was sold-out in a span of four minutes and two seconds. The website reported that the N1 scored 589 frames in GFX Bench’s Manhattan test, compared to 553 frames for the iPad Mini 3. In T-Rex, the score was 1,437 to 1,271, while in the 1080p T-Rex off-screen test the N1 got 1,691 frames and the iPad Mini 3 just 1,598.

For just $257, the Nokia N1 tablet is a high-quality Android tablet with specs that are on par with or even surpasses its competition. The tablet offers a 7.9-inch 2,048×1, 536 touch screen, an 8 MP main camera, a 5 MP secondary snapper, and it’s powered by Intel’s Atom Z3580 SoC processor, backed-up with an extremely potent 2.3 GHz quad-core CPU. The tablet runs on 2GB of RAM and has a capacity of 32GB of internal storage, as well as a 5,300 mAh battery. Lollipop will be the unit’s OS complete with the company’s Nokia Z Launcher.

Android authority reported how November was a busy month for Nokia.  After selling its Smartphone brand rights to Microsoft, CEO Rajeev Suri made the announcement that the company will not be unveiling new set of smartphones in the future. Weeks after, he went on to announce the release of Nokia N1 tablet.

With things going well for Nokia to start 2015, it won’t be a big surprise if the company makes a major leap in the tablet industry with their new Nokia N1 tablet.
