ISLAMABAD – ICT Director Development told the Senate Functional Committee on Government Assurances that Saudi Development Fund would provide financial assistance of $20 million for the establishment of Islamabad General Hospital at Tarlai, Islamabad.
The director added that so far four meeting had been held with Saudi Development Fund and some of their reservation removed with regard the original plan of the hospital. After completion of the amendment in the initial PC-I, the project would be sent to Planning Division for approval.
The non-provision of natural gas to I-16 Sector was due to inefficiency of the CDA management, said the chairman of the Senate Functional Committee on Government Assurances. The CDA officials always presented a new story over the development of I-16 Sector, said Chairman Saeed Ghani while chairing the committee’s meeting at the Parliament House.
The committee directed the CDA to deposit payment of demand notices of all applicants to SNGPL in order to ensure the provision of gas to them as early as possible. The CDA and SNGPL officials put responsibility over each other during the meeting.
