OSLO: Christmas tree given by the people of Norway and destined for pride of place in Trafalgar Square has begun the final leg of its journey from Immingham.
It was waved off by prize winners from schools throughout northern Lincolnshire. DFDS Seaways PLC ensure its safe arrival at Immingham docks today and loaded the 66ft tree on to a lorry.
It is due to arrive in the capital by tea-time and will mark 70 years of they symbolic links between Norway and the UK.
