The focus is now on working out a specific strategy for promoting export in each category of products. Export promotion councils on various products like handicraft, handloom, cashew, engineering goods, agricultural & food products would be set up in Bhubaneswar. Export promotion cells would be established in departments like textiles, handloom & handicrafts, industries, agriculture, fisheries & animal resource development, steel & mines, health & family welfare and electronics & IT.
