Officers relieved from duties for not joining new place of postings

ISLAMABAD: All the officers, who were transferred/posted and have not joined their new place of postings, have been relieved from their duties with immediate effect to join their new place of postings.

The authority relieved the officers who were transferred/posted through Board’s Notifications No. 0056-IR-I/2016 dated 08.01.2016, No. 0173-IR-I/2016 dated 21.01.2016, No. 0257-IR-I/2016 dated 29.01.2016 and No. 0255-IR-I/2016 dated 29.01.2016,

The concerned Chief Commissioners (IR) have been directed to ensure compliance of the above instructions. According to the notification, after February 15 any legal or administrative proceedings/correspondence undertaken by the officers at their previous positions will be treated as illegal.

Names of those officers who fail to make compliance of this order may be forwarded to Management Wing, FBR (HQ), immediately for initiation of Disciplinary Proceedings under Government Servants (Efficiency & Discipline) Rules, 1973, said the notification.
