OGDCL honoured with 7th Int’l CSR Award 2015

ISLAMABAD: Oil & Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) has been honoured with 7th International Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) 2015 Award.

OGDCL Managing Director Muhammad Rafi received the award from Minister for Commerce Engineer Khurram Dastagir in a ceremony organised by National Forum for Environment and Health (NFEH) held here at local hotel. The objectives of this event were to recognise and realise the importance of CSR activities.

Addressing to the participants of the summit, Rafi said that OGDCL is the largest exploration and production company in the country, which is listed in all three stock exchanges as well as on the London Stock Exchange.

He said that the passion and commitment of dedicated workforce of OGDCL has established its credibility in every sphere of its activities and has enabled to earn the goodwill of stakeholders. He further added that the company allocates huge amount towards Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) including health, education, water & sanitation, infrastructure and sports. He stated that OGDCL is operating in the remote areas of Pakistan and is fully committed to local communities.
