Ogra issues 71 LPG licences

ISLAMABAD: The Ogra has issued 71 different licences in the liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) sector during the current fiscal year.

According to a senior official of the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Resources, the authority has issued 12 licences for Operational Marketing of Storage and Filling Plants, 37 permits for construction of LPG Storage and Filling Plants, 20 for construction of LPG Auto-Refueling Stations, one for Storage and Refueling of LPG and one for construction of Production and Storage of LPG facility. The govt, he told APP, was making all-out efforts for bringing rapid investment in production and storage of the fuel besides establishing LPG auto stations.
