A summary has been sent to the federal government. The new prices will be announced after Prime Minister Imran Khan approves them. The new prices will be fixed for 15 days.

Two weeks ago the government increased the prices of petroleum products by up to nearly Rs2.31 to share the impact of rising international prices with the consumers.

Prime Minister Imran Khan while rejecting the summary forwarded by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) seeking a surge of Rs10.68 per liter in petrol price raised the price of petrol to Rs106 per liter.
