OGRA reduces RLNG prices for September 2024

ISLAMABAD: The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has announced a reduction in the prices of Re-gasified Liquefied Natural Gas (RLNG) for September 2024.

In a recent notification, OGRA outlined the new rates for both Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) and Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC).

According to the notification, the price of RLNG for consumers of Sui Northern has been reduced by $0.15 per million British thermal units (mmbtu), bringing the new price to $12.92 per mmbtu.

Similarly, RLNG prices for Sui Southern customers have also seen a decrease of $0.15 per mmbtu, with the new rate now set at $11.75 per mmbtu for the month of September.

This price cut aims to provide relief to consumers by reducing energy costs and supporting economic activity during the month.
