ISLAMABAD: The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) has showed reluctance to the Petroleum Ministry’s proposal of deciding price of liquefied natural gas (LNG) on monthly basis.
According to sources, petroleum ministry has written a letter to Ogra stressing that the LNG price should also be decided on monthly basis like other petroleum products.
However, Ogra has declined, maintaining that the LNG price cannot be decided on monthly basis like other petroleum products. It said that gas price can only be decided after 6 months according to the constitution.
