MUSCAT: Oman government awarded 2,723,095 rials worth four tenders to Tender Board at a meeting under the chair of HE Dr Rasheed Bin Al Safi Al Huraibi, Chairman of the board.
The tenders are for the following projects:
lRenewing the periodic maintenance agreement and supply of spare parts for equipment at the Ministry of Health worth 722,393 rials.
lAdditional works for construction of an additional berth at the general cargo terminal and liquid berth (Salalah Methanol) at Salalah Port in the Governorate of Dhofar valued at 718,231 rials.
lAdditional works for the supply of spare parts for the Ministry of Health’s medical equipment valued at 602,632 rials.
lAdditional works for the provision of maintenance service with the supply of spare parts for the radiology equipment at different health institutions for 600,410 rials.
lAdditional works for supply of water to Al Masarah Psychiatric Hospital in the Wilayat of Al Amerat worth 79,429 rials.
It also opened financial bids for expansion of water distribution network in the Wilayat of Baushar in the Governorate Muscat (first package).
The State Council last month hosted Al Huraibi at its session where the official made a presentation on the activities and achievements of the board.
He also reviewed the scope of work of the Tender Board and its secretariat General, some articles of the Tender Law, the general framework and the main steps and procedures for tenders.
