Oman to join 6th asian business leadership forum at Burj Khalifa

MUSCAT: All roads will lead to West Asia’s most influential leadership summit at the Armani Hotel, Burj Khalifa, in Dubai on November 29, where the sultanate will be showcased for its exemplary business leadership among other nations of Asia.

The sixth edition of the Asian Business Leadership Forum (ABLF) Series 2015 will be held under the Royal patronage and presence of H H Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak al Nahayan, Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development, UAE.

The ABLF has been hosting successful editions since 2007, bringing leaders and big business giants from across Asia together, in conversation and collaboration.

Oman’s Minister of Oil and Gas, H E Dr Mohammed al Rumhy will be the recipient of the ABLF 2015 Statesman Award, one of the Series’ most prestigious awards, as a recognition for his effort and achievement in showcasing Oman across this sector, globally.

Other Omani leaders recognised by this platform have been H E Khalil Abdullah al Khonji, as a recipient of the ABLF Ambassador of Commerce Award during his tenure as the chairman of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) and the Federation of the GCC Chambers (FGCCC) in 2013. Dr Omar bin Abdul Muniem al Zawawi, founder and chairman, Omar Zawawi Establishment and H E Mohammed al Zubair, founding chairman, Zubair Corporation were recipients of the ABLF Lifetime Achievement Award in 2012 and 2011 respectively.
