MUSCAT: Oman’s Al Maha Ceramics profit raised 29 percent after tax at 634,572 rials in first quarter of 2015 against 491,737 rials in the year-ago period.
Total revenue fell 8.4 per cent to 2.51 million rials during the period. The board had approved distribution of 35 per cent dividend in cash during the annual general meeting held on March 19. The company had entered into an agreement with Muscat Clearing and Depository (MCD) for distribution of dividend to the company’s shareholders.
MCD had initiated remittance of cash dividend amount to the bank accounts of the shareholders in all cases where bank details were available with MCD. For the remaining shareholders, MCD was preparing and mailing cheques to their registered addresses.
Any shareholder who has not received his dividend may contact the operations department of MCD. The company has requested all the shareholders to update their bank details and postal address with MCD to facilitate fast and secure remittance of dividends in future.
