MUSCAT: The total value of Oman’s exports recorded during 2014 amounted to OMR20.463 billion, shows a report.
The report, published by the National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI), says that non-oil exports amounted to OMR2.944bn.
Oman’s crude oil exports during 2014 amounted to OMR11.591bn, while liquefied natural gas exports amounted to OMR1.493bn and the value of refined oil exports reached OMR309.5 million.
The UAE topped the list of the top ten importers of non-oil exports from Oman during 2014, recording OMR776m, representing 18.8 per cent of the total exports; followed by Pakistan with exports amounting to OMR468m, accounting for 11.3 per cent; then Saudi Arabia, which came third, registering OMR437m and accounting for 10.6 per cent.
The sultanate’s non-oil exports during 2014 to India amounted to OMR384m, accounting for 9.3 per cent, while exports to both the United States and China amounted to OMR221m accounting for 5.4 per cent and 5.3 per cent, respectively.
