Oman’s MSM30 index drop 42.75% to 6,451.56pts

MUSCAT: Trading continued to be lacklustre on Sunday with market volume and turnover declining 42.75 per cent and 16.22 per cent to 4.4mn shares and RO1.3mn, respectively.

The MSM30 index dropped 0.06 per cent to 6,451.56 while the Shariah index closed unchanged.

The Financial sub-index slipped 0.15 per cent to 7,797.05, followed by the Industrial gauge (-0.06 per cent to 8,395.45). The Services index inched down 0.05 per cent.

Three stocks closed with gains, while ten declined and 13 remained unchanged.
