MUSCAT: Oman Telecommunications Company (Omantel) on Monday said that the company has accepted an offer presented by WorldCall Services and Ferret Consulting for selling its stake (ordinary and convertible preference shares) in Pakistan-based telecom firm WorldCall Telecom.
“The acquirers are working on completion of the transaction process, which is subject the approval of the concerned regulators in Pakistan,” Omantel said in a disclosure statement posted on MSM. Omantel does not expect that there will be any material financial impact on the company as a result of accepting this offer.
