GUJRANWALA: Khawaja Khalid Hassan of the One Unity Group was elected as President Gujranwala Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI), while Kashif A Aziz and Babu Imtiaz Hussain were elected as Vice Presidents of the chamber in the annual elections.
One Unity Group Chairman Sheikh Naseem, Akhlaq Ahmed Butt, Haji Murad Ali, Noman Salahuddin, Rehmanul Haq, Khawaja Tahir Hassan, Khawaja Zarar Kaleem, Malik Zaheerul Haq, Sheikh Shakeel, Ch Khurshid A Aziz, Rana Shahzad Hafeez and Haji Noman have greeted the newly-elected office bearers and expressed the hope that they would work for the betterment of the business community.
Meanwhile, newly-elected GCCI President Khwaja Khalid expressed his gratitude to the chamber’s members, especially group leaders and said that he would spare no effort to resolve problems being faced by the GCCI members. It is to be noted that the One Unity Group grabbed all the seats as the rival Founders Unity Group had boycotted the chamber elections.
