BEIJING: Chinese handset-maker OnePlus on Thursday launched a new affordable smartphone – OnePlus X – at a price of Rs. 16,999 in partnership with e-commerce player Amazon.in.
“Today’s smartphone user strives to find the perfect balance of style and performance. The OnePlus X is a design-centric device – chic and powerful enough to fit any lifestyle,” said OnePlus chief executive Pete Lau.
The new phone will come with a compact 5-inch display, a 13-megapixel rear camera combined with f/2.2 aperture and 0.2-second autofocus with phase detection autofocus (PDAF).
“We are also pleased to announce that it will be our first locally-manufactured smartphone,” said OnePlus India general manager Vikas Agarwal.
