Only domestic, commercial consumers to enjoy gas in winter

MULTAN: Only domestic and commercial consumers will enjoy gas during the winter season.

Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited General Manager Muhammad Hanif Ramay said this while taking to the state-owned news agency on Friday. He said that gas supply to textile and CNG sectors have been closed completely in winter season as providing gas to domestic consumers was top priority, GM said.

Hanif Ramay said that the gas supply was being provided to domestic consumers during 6 am to 9 am and 5 pm to 8 pm daily with full pressure under gas load management plan so that the people could cook food easily. He said gas supply is not suspended completely. He also said that gas supply being provided to commercial consumers including hotels, tandoors and others outlets for public facility. Various teams were actively detecting illegal tactics, imposing fines and disconnecting gas connections.
