Open market:: Dollar remains flat in value against rupee

KARACHI: The dollar closed up in value against the rupee in the interbank market, dealers said on Wednesday. It commenced the trading at Rs 101.20 for buying and with 20 paisas variation in value closed at Rs 101.40 for buying and Rs 101.60 for selling. The European currency remained plus as it up by Rs 1.07 versus local currency as it closed at Rs 111.17 for buying and closed at Rs 111.39 for selling. British pound remained plus against the rupee as it began the trading at Rs 153.61 for buying and closed at Rs 155.52 for buying after gaining Rs 1.91 and closed at Rs 155.82 for selling.

Open market: The dollar remained flat in value against the rupee, dealers said. It began the trading at Rs 102.60 for buying and closed at Rs 102.60 for buying after no change and closed at Rs 102.85 for selling. The euro closed up against the local currency as it initiated the trading at Rs 111.15 and closed at Rs 111.75 for buying after 60 paisas change and closed at Rs 112 for selling.
