Opening: KSE recoups losses, gains 67 points

KARACHI: The Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) 100-index Thursday took a good start, recouping losses of the last two days and gained 66.73 or 0.22 per cent points to reach 30187.72 with the volume of 955,06,698 shares till 10:00am.

The benchmark KSE-100 index, on Wednesday, dropped 234.23 points to reach 30120.99 points and volume of 103,405,260 shares. Earlier, yesterday morning benchmark KSE-100 index opened with positive trend and gained 37 points. In midday trading, market kept on adding to its Tuesday losses and plunged 258.30 points, reaching 30096.92 points with volume of 4,258,484,211 shares.
