KARACHI: As govt and PTI-PAT teams could not reach any deal, KSE 100-index once against took a negative start, shedding 20.85 points to 29583.45 in early trading of the morning session on Friday. At start of the trading, KSE even plunged to 29496.19 points but recovered with the passage of time.

Dr Arif Alvi of PTI dispelled an impression that the party was about to seal a deal with the government and end the political stalemate. “The two sides have only agreed broadly to our proposal of electoral reforms and establishing a judicial commission. There is no further progress on the rest of our demands,” he said.
