OPPO releases its latest budget flagship, OPPO Joy 3 in India

NEW DELHI: OPPO has released its latest budget flagship, OPPO Joy 3 in India. The smartphone is OPPO’s attempt to penetrate the Indian budget smartphone market.

The OPPO Joy 3 is powered by a 1.3GHz Quad-core MediaTek MT6582m processor with 1 GB of RAM. The smartphone has 4GB of storage option which is expandable via MicroSD card upto 32GB. A 5MP primary camera and 2MP secondary camera, combined with Oppo Pure Image 2.0+ core imaging technology, will keep the selfie lovers happy. The camera also has features like Audio Photo, GIF and HDR.

The phone has a dual SIM 3G capability and runs Android 4.4 KitKat skinned with OPPO’s own ColorOS 2.0.1. A 2000mAh battery with 180 hours of standby time keeps the phone up for an average work day. The smartphone is available in white and grey colour and weighs just 135gm.

CEO of OPPO Mobiles India Mr. Tom Lu spoke on the device launch. He said, “OPPO Joy 3 is a successor of Joy Plus which combines appearance, fine camera quality at an affordable price. The device offers endless possibilities and enjoyment to the consumers both in rural and urban India. Indian market is our top most priority and we want to launch models across categories which combine style, technology and design.”

The OPPO Joy 3 is available now in India at Rs.7, 990.
