Over 500,000 people submit tax returns online

KARACHI: At least 500,000 people submitted their tax returns through e-returns facility introduced by the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).

Talking to Customs Today, Assistant Commissioner Regional Tax Office (RTO-III) Malik Safdar said that the number of people who are using e-returns facility are increasing day by day.

He said during the last fiscal year, at least 200,000 people submitted their tax details through e-returns. He said that the new taxpayers are preferring to submit their tax returns through e-returns facility. He said, “We are expecting 50,000 new taxpayers who will use this facility in two months.”
