CANBERRA: National Broadband Network the largest Australian internet provider aimed to add about 2.1 million homes and business by September 2016. At present it has an access to mover 870,000 Australian homes and business.
NBN has added 550,000 homes and businesses across Australia to the rollout of the National Broadband Network. The quarterly construction update includes work already underway or in plan to start by September 2016 and covers more than 3.1 million Australian homes and businesses.
Communities added to the plan include Noosa on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast; Mt Gambier and Whyalla in South Australia; Bendigo and Docklands in Victoria; Bathurst in the NSW Central West and Castle Hill in Sydney’s North West; the township of Broome and the Perth suburbs of Hilton and Bassendean in Western Australia.
