Overseas-bound passengers arrested on suspicious documents: FIA

ISLAMABAD: Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Tuesday arrested three overseas-bound travellers over suspicious and fake documents at Benazir International Airport Islamabad. The agency also off-loaded seven travellers including one woman from foreign-bound flights.

Mazhar and Umar were off-loaded from Dubai-bound flight for having suspicious documents while another black-listed traveller namely Tanveer was arrested from Saudi Arabia bound flight.

Another traveller was off-loaded from Dubai-bound flight because of incomplete documents.

Moreover, a passenger Faisal Ayub was off-loaded from Oman bound flight. The arrested travellers were being further investigated.
