Overseas Ministry sent 2,982 persons abroad for employment in three year

ISLAMABAD: Ministry for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development has sent abroad 2,982 persons for employment from 2011 to 2013.

According to officials figures , these persons were sent abroad during the period from January 1,2011 to January 1,2013. A total of 1338 persons were sent to various countries through Overseas Employment Corporation in the year 2011. During this period a maximum of 768 persons were sent to Saudi Arabia and 444 to South Africa and rest to other countries.

During the year 2012, a total of 1014 persons were sent abroad for employment, while 630 Pakistanis were sent abroad during the year 2013 by the Overseas Employment Corporation.
