Overseas Pakistanis’ complaints being addressed: Afzaal Bhatti

LAHORE: Overseas Pakistanis Commissioner Muhammad Afzaal Bhatti has said that complaints of overseas Pakistanis with regard to airport authorities are being immediately redressed through the Punjab Board of Investment and Trade.

He was addressing a dinner held in the honour of delegations of overseas Pakistanis.

Members of the commission as well as delegations of overseas Pakistanis from America, UK, Japan, Australia and Saudi Arabia investing in Pakistan were present on the occasion.

Bhatti said that legislation for commission was completed on November 10, 2014 and it had been made functional formally two weeks ago.

He said that 57 complaints of overseas Pakistanis had been received so far in the office of Overseas Pakistanis Commission, out of which 23 complaints were redressed.

He said that all complaints of overseas Pakistanis with regard to airport authorities, NADRA, Board of Revenue and police were being immediately redressed through the Punjab Board of Investment and Trade.
