NEW DELHI: New pictures of the anticipated Apple Watch have appeared on the Internet showing how the very packaging of the wearable gadget is also a charging station.

Although the Apple Watch is going to hit the stores on April 24, pre-orders will begin on April 10

The images are posted on Instagram and show how the outer packaging of the device will look like. Uploaded by a Daily Mail employee, Jeremy Gan, the images also show the leather straps, which don’t look as pleasing as the stainless steel band.

Gan describes the packaging as ‘top notch,’ like all other Apple products. He says that it is the ‘weirdest thing’ that he has come across in a while, but it feels and works well than what he had expected.

The smartwatch is Apple’s brand new product in five years and has been priced from $350 to $17,000 for an 18-karat gold model. Apple is closely guarding its new product by publishing how-to videos about its usage and limiting the consumers on its launch through appointments-only strategy and subtly telling the others to not queue up outside the stores and instead opt for an online purchase.
