NEW DELHI: In a bid to promote bilateral investment and strengthen trade relationship between India and China, Ark of China Chairman, Mark Shujun Ma said that SMEs in both the nations should work together and act as backbone of their respective economies.
Shujun Ma was speaking at the India-China (Liaoning) Business Conference oragnised by FICCI.
“Asia needs development and sincere cooperation between the two greatest countries in the world, China and India. We need to support SMEs as this would mean supporting our nation. Ark of China after 5 years will offer a lots of job opportunities to SMEs,” Shujun Ma said.
Several MoUs between Indian and Chinese companies were signed in areas including E-Commerce, Consultancy, Animal Feedstock, Waste Management, Tourism and Infrastructure generating business worth $100 million.
Aiming to provide a roadmap to address the difficulties that the two nations face in bilateral trade and investment, several Chinese and Indian CEO’s exchanged ideas on how the two countries can deepen their economic engagement. Also speaking at the conference, Invest India, Managing Director, Deepak Bagla said that Make in India is not only a mission but also a business plan because it is granular in approach.
India is an ideal manufacturing hub and will learn from the experiences of China, he added. Liaoning Development & Reform Commission, Deputy Director, and Shenyang Economic zone, Director, Liu Shijie led the 25 member high powered business delegation from Liaoning Province, China.
He said that both India and China have great civilization and together they can achieve great heights.
