ISLAMABAD: Businessmen from Pakistan and Belarus, during a forum organised by the Board of Investment, have signed 12 contracts worth $42 million.
Belarusian Minister for Industries Vitaly Vovk led the delegation, which included representatives of 36 companies working in the fields of farm machinery, agricultural inputs, engineering, oil refining, medicine, chemicals, light industry, minerals and gems and jewellery took part in the forum. Pakistani side, consisting of more than 60 representatives, was led by BoI chairman Miftah Ismail.
While talking to media, Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chairman Mikhail Myatlikov said that the Belarusian companies were eager to introduce their products in Pakistan. He said talks with the business community would be held at a local chamber of commerce and industry on Tuesday.
