Pak-China IT companies to enhance cooperation

LAHORE: The Pak-China Joint Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCJCCI) is thriving to invigorate a revolutionary phase of information technology in collaboration with China under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.

PCJCCI President Wang Zihai observed this in a meeting with a visiting three-member Chinese delegation from the BODA software solutions, Sichuan, China, here on Friday. The delegation was headed by Mr Qiu Ziynn. The visit of the delegation was aimed at enhancing cooperation and trade between the IT sectors of both the countries.

The main aim of the IT delegation was to inform the relevant Chinese stakeholders about the opportunities available in Pakistan IT industry to solicit Chinese interest in outsourcing IT work to Pakistani companies, and to partner with Pakistani companies for extending footprint of Chinese IT companies. Wang Zihai informed the delegation about various aspects IT and software industry of Pakistan.

The Chinese were told that Pakistan had many IT companies which were developing high end, enterprise grade software solutions for world’s largest and premier companies.
