Pak-India customs officials meet

LAHORE: Top officials of Customs Collectorate of Preventive are attending three day Customs Liaison Board Committee meeting in India.

Sources said that the meeting is being held from April 16 to 18 in which customs authorities of both sides will discuss bilateral issues pertaining to trade, commerce and smuggling.

MCC Lahore Collector Fazal Khan Yazdani, Additional Collector Mubashar Baig, Additional Collector Amar Ahmad Mir and Additional Commissioner Wagha Dr Adnan are taking part in the meeting.

The meeting is held periodically in which both the sides discuss issues related to smuggling and trade between the two countries. The meeting is held with a gap of one month once in Pakistan and once in India, the sources added.
