KARACHI: Bearish trend Monday gripped the local currency market as Pakistani rupee depreciated against US dollar both in open market and interbank.
As per the forex report on first trading day, the US dollar gained 10 paisas in open market to reach 101.85 and 10 paisas in interbank to close at 100.7. On Friday, the greenback gets 5 paisas in open market to touch 101.75, while it remained unchanged in interbank at 100.60.
