KARACHI: The Pakistani currency Tuesday depreciated against the US dollar in open market, however, it gained value in interbank.
As per the local currency market, the greenback gained 20 paisas in open market for selling at 102.90 and shed 17 paisas in interbank to be traded at 101.60. On Monday, the rupee fell modestly against the dollar on the money market in the process of trading. The rupee drifted lower in relation to the dollar, shedding three-paisa for buying and selling at Rs 101.75 and Rs 101.77 respectively. In open market, the rupee held the weekend levels versus the dollar for buying and selling at Rs 102.50 and Rs 102.70 respectively.
