Pakistani transporters demand Indian government to release driver

LAHORE: Pakistani transports, including trailers and heavy transporters and drivers, observed strike against India on Friday.  The protesters blocked the GT Road and protested against India. They were chanting slogans against the Indian government, Indian Customs and Indian Army as well.

The protest was staged by the drivers and transporters of Pakistan to show solidarity with a Pakistani driver who was arrested by the Indian police two months ago on the charges of killing an Indian laborer in a road accident at the Attari station near Wagha. According to details, the Pakistani driver carried a trailer of gypsum to India, and during unloading of the consignment, an Indian laborer died there.
