Pak-Ukraine Centre working for strong economic cooperation: Envoy

KARACHI: There is a big potential for economic cooperation between Pakistan and Ukraine and the two business communities can enter joint ventures in various sectors.

Ukraine stall in My Karachi: Oasis of Harmony exhibition at Karachi Expo Centre on Friday. He recalled his efforts for promoting trade and investment between the two countries.

Senior official of PUTIC Sohail Shamim Firpo said this centre was aimed at creating awareness about bilateral trade and investment opportunities, to encourage foreign investment in Pakistan, to assist Ukrainian and Pakistani companies in exploring markets, to offer platform for exchanging information between Pakistan and Ukraine, and organising trade activities between both the countries.

He said a good number of businessmen visited PUTIC stall to get information relating to bilateral trade and investment. This centre was established in block-6 of PECHS by Firpo Group of Companies here, he said. The timing is 9:30 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. On Saturday it is 9:30 A.M. to 13:30 P.M. Whereas, Sundays are holidays, he said.
