Pakistan-Belarus Joint Business Council meeting today

ISLAMABAD: A high profile trade delegation led by Vitaly Vovk, Minister of Industry for the Republic of Belarus, is visiting Karachi to attend the second session of Pakistan-Belarus Joint Business Council (JBC) being hosted by the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industries today.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for establishment of JBC between Pakistan and Belarus was signed on May 27, 2015. The first meeting of the JBC was held in August, 2015 during the visit of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to Belarus. Khalid Tawab, Senior Vice President, FPCCI, will also make presentation on the role of the FPCCI.

The forthcoming JBC will be attended by officials from Pakistan and Belarus comprising many CEOs of well known companies while  SM Muneer, CEO, TDAP will be the chief guest on the occasion.

The JBC meeting will be followed by the B2B meetings particularly in the sectors of tractors and different agricultural machinery, textile,  knitted goods, jewelry etc.
