Pakistan Cotton Ginners Association office-bears elected unopposed

MULTAN: Javed Suhail Rehmani (Chichawatni) Haresh Kumar Vedani (Sindh) and Abdul Latif (Bahawalpur)  have been elected unopposed as chairman, senior vice chairman and vice chairman of Pakistan Cotton Ginners Association(PCGA) for the year 2019-20.

As per details, election commission announced here on Tuesday Returning Office M.Asif Khalil said that September 17 was fixed for filing nomination papers for the top slots. Three candidates of Pakistan ginners group turned up for filing their candidatures. No candidate from rival Insaf group turned up nomination paper till 5 PM .

Earlier ginners group secured landslide victory on the 15 seats of central executive committee. Muhammad Arshad 382 votes, Muhammad Munir 387, Waheed Akhtar 397 , Abdul Latif 393, Sohail Ahmed Haral 398 , Sham Lal 352, Muhammad Javed Sohail  384,  Winesh Kumar 357, Chandar Lal 355 , Muhammad Ishaq  371,Muhammad Arshad 380, Muhammad Shahid Ali 377, Muhammad Arshad 365 son of  Hidayatullah, Aslam Khan 348 and Jameel Ahmed 331 were elected.
