Pakistan Customs team gets 2 gold medals in Muay Thai games

KARACHI: Pakistan Customs is not only playing a vital role to curb smuggling and enhancing revenue generation, but also projecting the real image of the country through healthy activities like sports.

Addressing the news conference at the Customs Academy in Federal B Area the Collector Customs Preventive Dr Iftikhar Ahmed said that Pakistan Custom team in the history of the country has achieved two gold medals in Muay Thai games which is a record.

Collector Customs Preventive Dr Iftikhar Ahmed said that there is a dire need of youngsters who can project the better image of the country. He said that Pakistan Customs is deeply focusing to boost up its all the departments to get the better results can be achieved.

Collector Customs Preventive during the news conference said that despite shortage of the revenue Pakistan Customs is far better and in upcoming future best results will be share from the sports department.

He said the Pakistan Customs team played very well in the Muay Thai games which were held in Thailand. He also said that impressive meeting was held with the head coach of the hockey team during which betterment of the game was the priority and in December 2017 or in January 2018 Quaid Azam Gold Cup Hockey Tournament will be held.

In the Muay Thai games five thousand players of the fifty two countries took part in which Pakistan Customs team manage to hold up position and is awarded two gold medals.
