Pakistan exports Rs 1.77 billion items to India in September

LAHORE: Pakistan has exported items worth Rs 1.77 billion to India during September trade to India via Wahga border.

According to documents available with Customs Today, Pakistan exported dried fruits, salt, cement, gypsum, cotton, scrap and lime stone.

The documents show that Pakistan exported 22,801 metric tonnes of dried fruits such as dates, figs and guavas to India. Similarly, Pakistan exported 275 metric tonnes of vegetable extracts or saps of Rs 14.8 million through Wahga border.

According to details, Pakistan exported 5,309 metric tonnes of rock salt worth Rs 17 million to India, while 71,119 metric tonnes of gypsum worth Rs 100 million was sold to India.

Besides that Pakistan also exported lime stone, white cement, talc and other types of cement to India worth Rs 6.2 million, Rs 0.4 million, Rs 0.26 million and Rs 210 million respectively.

Almost 8,247 metric tonnes of aluminum ores worth Rs 14 million were exported through Wahga border during the last trading month. Pakistan also exported disodium carbonate, hydrogen peroxide, formic acid and melamine to India worth Rs 81 million, Rs 18 million, Rs 2 million and Rs 0.54 million respectively.

Pakistan exported scrap, cotton (not combed), worn clothing and glass of Rs 10 million, Rs 29 million, Rs 0.9 million and Rs 161 million respectively. As a whole Pakistan exported items worth Rs 1.77 million with a total weight of 172,109 metric tonnes to India.
