Pakistan has potential in many sectors to increase growth rate: Rana Muhammad Afzal

ISLAMABAD: Parliamentary Secretary for Finance Rana Muhammad Afzal Thursday said Pakistan had potential in many sectors to increase growth rate.

He said continuity of democratic and political system would help to strengthen economy of the country. He said there was need to engage development oriented parties to achieve progress in every sector. He said tax collection system had been improved to achieve the target. Rana Afzal said development work in the provinces had also been increased due to better tax collection system.

He said dynamic policies of the present government would help to generate employment, besides improve the health and education sectors. Parliamentary Secretary was of the view that modern technology could also help the farmers to enhance the productivity of crops. “Utilizing advance technology in the agriculture field, Pakistan would be in a position to export the products in an appropriate manner, “ he said. To a question, he said international institutions had also been giving positive reports about rapid progress in Pakistan. He said progressive indicators would enhance confidence of the foreign investors to invest in Pakistan.
