LAHORE: Trade between Pakistan and India will remain closed from July 5 to July 8 for Eid holidays.
Wagah border is the main trade route between two neighboring countries. The trade activities will be resumed again after Eid holidays, sources told Customs Today. Trade activities between two countries are already slow these days because the government has banned the import of a number of vegetables from India. Sources said that after Eid, Pakistan’s trade activities will be increased because of the addition of new items in export list.
On other hand, the government has announced a four-day holiday for Eidul Fitr across the country. The Interior Ministry has issued a notification in this regard.
