LAHORE: Pakistan Railway has announced a five-percent decrease in fare of freight trains after decrease in rates of diesel and petrol.
Federal Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique approved the reduction in fares.
Traders and businessmen welcomed the reduction of fares. All Pakistan Anjumen-e-Tajran Chairman Khalid Pervez praised the step to decrease the rates of petroleum products and reduction in railway fares. He said decrease in fares would provide relief to the traders in Lahore.
