Pakistani held at UK airport with heroin

LEEDS, UK: A Pakistani air steward who was arrested after 2.5kg of heroin was found inside his luggage at the Leeds Bradford International Airport (LBIA), was charged and remanded into custody by a magistrates’ court.

Syed Shahrukh Shah, who arrived on a Pakistan International Airline (PIA) flight from Islamabad, was arrested by UK Border Force officials and was charged with attempting to smuggle class ‘A’ drugs.
