KARACHI: The total liquid foreign reserves held by the country stood at US$ 19,710.7 million on November 17, a State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) statement announced here on Thursday.
It said that the break-up of the foreign reserves position is as under:
- i) Foreign reserves held by SBP: US$ 13,541.1 million
- ii) Net foreign reserves held by commercial banks: US$ 6,169.6 million
iii) Total liquid foreign reserves: US$ 19,710.7 million.
During the week ending 17 November 2017, SBP’s reserves decreased by around US$ 137 million to US$ 13,541 million due to external debt and other official payments.
